About Us
At GRS our E-Discovery and Data
Forensics Services are handled with the same underlying
principle that applies to our litigation support services -
quality. Our goal is to provide you, our client, with the best
possible product in a manner that will exceed your expectations.
Our commitment to the quality
of our E-Discovery and Data Forensics begins before a project
ever commences. E-Discovery and Forensics projects are
assigned to a dedicated Case Manager who’ll not only handle the
logistical aspects of the case, but will help you understand the
how and why of every step of the duplication, recovery, and
extraction process. We meet with our clients to determine the
goals that must be achieved with each E-Discovery project, and
assist our clients in determining the best methods of achieving
those goals.
We work with our clients to
determine the E-Discovery processing parameters, including
extraction, keywords, filtering, querying, and specific file
format handling. Our electronic discovery services also include
the actual data gathering from the client site. Once we receive
the data, we perform a complete virus scan of all incoming data
and then analyze the data to confirm that the content is what
the client is expecting. The next step is to index and process
the electronically stored information with our multiple
applications of specialized, recognition and recovery software.
The processing stage is where the
majority of the data sorting, indexing, searching and recovery
actually take place.
During the processing stage there
are many activities that are possible depending on our client’s
specific project requirements. Some of these include:
- Native File Review
- Full Text Extraction (100%
accurate text version of the document)
- Metadata Extraction
(generate fields of data such as the Author or Subject of an
email)
- TIFF Generation (image
creation for use in litigation software packages)
After the research and processing
is completed, every exhibit and report page undergoes a full
Quality Control Review. Every E-Discovery and Digital
Forensics deliverable undergoes this quality control review to
insure that it meets the requirements provided to us by our
clients. Our Digital Forensics Consultants will discuss
the unique needs you may have, assist you in defining your
specific requirements, and will then provide you with a quality
E-Discovery or Digital Forensics solution to meet them.
In almost every legal matter, crucial
evidence
will be stored electronically, and must be
retrieved
without alteration or damage.
